Just Who Shows Up?
 DLWS has a regular
staff that is at EVERY DLWS event. Moose, Joe and Laurie are at
every DLWS, dying to help you at the camera and at the computer. Other
than those few heartbeats when they get to sleep, they are available
to assist you in any way they can. In addition, Sharon, Joe Wacom,
Brad and other DLWS staff are at DLWS to help you. The variety of assistance
they can provide you insures that your learning experience is only
top notch. But that’s not all who is on the team at DLWS to assist
you.
Nikon has a NPS personal at
every DLWS event (at least, tries to)! We are so very fortunate to have
only the best, usually Anne Cahill or Mark Kettenhofen there to assist
you in all things Nikon and photographic. These folks are considered
DLWS staff not just because they are such nice folks, but because they
are EVERYWHERE, ALL THE TIME to help! Participants come to learn that
they have a lot more to offer then just how a particular piece of Nikon
gear operates. Their life experiences behind the camera and aiding all
types of photographers make them a tremendous asset to the DLWS team!
We are very fortunate to be one of the few workshops with NPS support!*
 We are VERY fortunate to have Joe
Sliger from Wacom at DLWS events! Joe will assist you in setting
up your system to use the loaner Wacom Intous
3 tablet for use during DLWS. But Joe doesn’t stop there! A certified
Adobe instructor, Joe is with us for the entire event and is very capable of
assisting you especially at High Noon with Photoshop questions. We are very grateful
to Wacom’s support in making it possible to have Joe as part and
valued member of the DLWS team!
What does this all mean for you, the participant? It means there are
eight instructors/staff at DLWS waiting to help you make the most of
YOUR photography! That’s nine
staff to thirty participants. You won’t find that instructor/participant
ratio at ANY OTHER workshop! We won’t serve you breakfast in bed or carry
your camera gear, but we’ll do just about anything else we can to insure
you learn all we have to offer and are infected with our passion for photography!
