Participant Packet

Bass Harbor Lighthouse - © Moose PetersonComing to DLWS prepared is essential to learn and have fun. Meeting us half was makes the learning go a whole lot smoother. We want you to be able to get the most out of the experience. First thing you should do is read the entire website, many times!. Next, download and read the DLWS Participant Worksheet PDF Packet and Recommended & Required Gear for DLWS. You should read this, print it and bring it with you to DLWS.

We expect our participants to come prepared to learn which means they must take some responsibility and think the event through. For example, is we're going to spend 12 hours at the computer processing and finishing images, you must have some way to process and finish your images which includes a computer (notebook) and software. If you don't have PhotoShop CS2, go get a full version of PS CS2 either by buying it or downloading a 30 day trail from the Adobe webiste. DigitalPro. NIK Suite will be demoed and you can buy it at DLWS. If you want to explore the world of RAW, you must have a means of previewing and processing RAW files from your camera. You must be photographers and come prepared! If you need help with getting prepared, just contact Moose and he'll be more than happy to discuss options with you.

If you have questions, please don't hesitate to contact us!
