Moose Peterson

Moose PetersonB. Moose Peterson is a wildlife photographer who manages to get himself involved in a whole lot more than just wildlife photography! Beginning in 1981, he literally took apart Nikon gear in search of photographic answers to the problems he faced in photographing California's endangered wildlife. He hasn't stopped shooting or taking things apart since!

Moose switched to a fulltime digital shooter in June 2000 because of the quality and capabilities he found in the D1. Within a year's time, he had filed over 40GB of original digital wildlife images captured with the D1, D1x and D1H. To date he has over 3.1TB of original digital image (his files containing over 1.2 million images). It's this day to day experience of shooting with D2Xs, D2Hs, D200, Nikon lenses and in the design & development of everything needed for post work, that he presents at Digital Landscape Workshop Series!

Moose's honors run the gamot of photography. Named a Nikon Legend Behind the Lens, Lexar Elite Photographer, PS World Dreamteam are just a few. His 1998 John Muir Conservation Award and his becoming a Research Associate with the Endangered Species Recovery Program he consideres his top honors.

Kevin Dobler

Kevin DobblerMoose & I have been shooting together for over a decade, from birds to sheep to bears to floating ANWR. While I’m a published photographer and have a wildlife fine art business, wildlife photography for me is in many ways like you, a passionate hobby. I’m here to help YOU take all that’s being taught and put it into action. I was inspired and have shot with one of the best in the business for along time and luckily, some of it has rubbed off and I’m thrilled to have this opportunity to pay it back by helping you!
